Hi everybody.
I have SPS installed in one server with SQL Server. Now i want to install
project server 2003 in another server, but i was wondering the next: I know
Project Server has its own WSS for document, risk and issues tracking. But
what if i want to use the WSS from the server with SPS, can it be done and
linked?. And what about if i want to use the SQL from the SPS server, can it
be done to??. Anyone has do it? I was thinking maybe the big problem is when
a disaster comes, especifically because the backup. MAybe the sites for
project can't be restored.

What do you think?. Do you recommend this installation or is better to the
one with two servers and his own sql?.

Thanks in advanced.

Hi Roberto,

SPS can be installed on existing WSS. so as long as Project server 2003 and
SPS 2003 share the same version of WSS (which I believe to be true), you
will finally have only one WSS installed. Hope this will help.
