Move Database. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi all!
I have Sharepoint Portal Server 2003. I have two IIS - Webserver, one Index
Server and one SQLSever in Cluster. Now I have to move my Databases from my
SQL server to a new one. Is there any kind of white paper explaining the best
way to do it? Can you help me?

I have a similar request, we have a single server installation and we want to
move the SQL databases to a bigger, better box.
I have been researching for two days but it's not yet clear to me what is
the cleanest, easiest way for doing this.
I hope we get some answer here.

This one seems to be missing a critical part, reconnecting the databases
(Central adminstration -> List and Manage Portal sites -> restore site ->
enter info for new sql server and database names)
Now, I didn't use the backup and restore window for the restore, perhaps it
does it automatically.
