Redirect Host Name in IE

When my local users access the SharePoint Portal Server 2003, they go to
http://servername:85

Is there a way to make it so they can access it by going to
http://sharepoint?

Hi Randy,

Configure 'sharepoint' as the host header in IIS and configure DNS so that
when user types http://sharepoint it should redirect to the IP address of
your server.

If you don't have DNS infrastructure in your network, then modify the hosts
file in each client.
